Layers of Dignity is a nonprofit organization founded in 2018 by two nurses who believe that sexual assault survivors deserve better care in hospitals and advocacy centers.
The challenge we faced is ignorance by the general public about the experience and needs of survivors.
The purposefully ambiguous mark: a TORCH as in “ join the cause” vs. a FLOWER representing growth, new life, and beauty from dirt.
