Jesus's main message was clear: The kingdom of God is now here. This kingdom is about the rightly framed world as God intended and what Jesus started and will someday culminate.
We were tasked with helping Christians understand that citizenship in God's kingdom isn't a service attended or belief espoused, but a new identity.

In the Citizen videos people carry out their day through work, play, or hobbies, but they've all chosen to put on the symbol of the kingdom. Being a citizen of God's kingdom doesn't take you out of the world, but it redefines your purpose, motivation, and source of meaning. Our hope with handing out buttons, pins, patches, etc. is that people would begin to identify themselves as a citizen of the kingdom of God. This isn't a sticker of a band or sports team that you like, it's a declaration that your primary identity is of a citizen in the kingdom of the King. We waited five weeks to make these items available in hopes that everyone would understand just what it is they're saying in putting this symbol on.
