With the tragedies, division, and suffering experienced in 2020, many people began 2021 without hope. We spent ten weeks in the story of Job, who faces devastation and is challenged to find hope.
We titled the series “Walking Wounded“ because Job suffers pain and loss and much of this book is about how to carry on when at times we may have more questions than faith. The opening week of the series showed only the first fourteen seconds. Each week more footage was revealed, creating tension and mystery as viewers saw this person endure abuse and ridicule..

Vintage Church began their Easter series immediately after the conclusion of Job. Through the book of Job they saw what it looks like to walk with faith even during tough times, and in the weeks leading up to Easter we examined the connection of Job's suffering to that of Jesus.. When we hit the first week of the Easter series is when the cross is placed on Job's back, with the final shot being shown on Easter Sunday.
